✉️ Closing the Year with Gratitude and Your Body’s Whispers

Dear Reader,

As the year comes to an end, I invite you to pause with me and honor the beauty of this moment - a time to reflect, to let go, and to welcome the new with a grounded heart.

This year has been full of lessons - some joyful, others challenging. Each step, no matter how small, has shaped my path. I am so grateful for the journey we’ve shared and for the transformations I’ve witnessed in you and in myself.

There’s a beauty in this tradition of year-end reflection - a moment to go inward, to honor the stillness of winter, and to hear the quiet wisdom within ourselves.

Rather than rushing into resolutions or intentions, I invite you to take a different approach this year: listen to your body. Let its whispers guide you as you reflect on the year behind and dream of the one ahead. Your body holds profound truths - it knows where you need rest, where you carry tension, and where your energy feels most alive.

Years End Contemplation and Reflection 2024

Here’s how you can integrate this practice into a ritual for closing the year and welcoming the new.

Light a candle or incense: Create a quiet space and let the flame remind you of your inner light.

Sit in stillness and listen: Place your hands on your heart or belly and simply ask, “What is my body telling me?” Notice any sensations, tightness, or warmth without judgment.

Reflect on the past year: As you revisit your experiences, notice how your body reacts. Which memories bring ease? Which bring tension?

Express gratitude: Thank your body for carrying you through the highs and lows. Honor the lessons, triumphs, heartbreaks, and challenges, and let your body feel the warmth of your gratitude.

Release or transform: Ask yourself what you’re ready to let go of. Visualize tension or heaviness leaving your body and transforming into lightness or strength.

Face unresolved feelings with compassion: If resentment or fear arises, ask your body what it needs in this moment - rest, movement, or simply your presence.

Move with intention: A gentle stretch, a walk, or even a dance can help you align your body and mind for the year ahead.

Set your intentions from within: Instead of writing a list of goals, ask your body what feels aligned, grounded, and true. Trust the wisdom you hear.

As we welcome the New Year, let your body be your guide. It’s your closest friend in navigating life’s turbulence and joys.
And in moments of challenge, remember you always have the choice between fear and love.

Personal Note

As we step into 2025, I want to pause and acknowledge the beauty of this shared journey. Every session, every moment of de-Armouring, deep listening, release and laughter, every breath we’ve taken together has carried so much magic - the softening of what was once tense and the unveiling of what was always there beneath the layers.

Thank you for walking this path with me, for trusting me with your body & stories, and for allowing me to witness the unfolding of your light. It’s exactly these moments - real, raw, and deeply human - that make this craft so meaningful to me.

The year ahead is an open canvas, inviting us to fill it with love, connection, and courage. 2025 carries the energy of joy, and I am curious to explore what it takes to truly tune into this frequency and embody it fully.

And as we turn toward the year ahead, so much is waiting to be created - new steps, new possibilities, opportunities, deeper connections and new challenges.

I am feeing excited to see what will bring 2025 into existence.

Wishing you a New Year filled with joy, presence, and heartfelt connection Reader

Warmly
Johannes

Ps.: I will be back in Berlin and available for sessions starting January 13, 2025.

#ISSUE006 Your Body Knows the Way Back ... It’s not broken. It’s waiting. Make space - and it will show you. Dear Reader, What if your body no longer had to carry what your mind couldn’t process? I just came back from a 12-day practitioner training in the Netherlands.12 days of presence, bodywork & release. Short nights. Deep dives. #005 ✉️ Integration and Healing When the Body Finally Feels Safe We often think of healing as something that happens when we’ve processed the past – when the story makes sense – when the pain has been talked through. But true healing doesn’t happen in the mind – it happens when the body finally feels safe enough to let go. Trauma doesn’t end when the event ends – it ends when the body completes what it couldn’t finish back then. Many of us carry incomplete stories – frozen emotions – and...

#ISSUE 004 ✉️ What Do You Love? ... and why De-Armouring isn’t just about releasing tension. Dear, Reader Before we say a word, we are already speaking. Through the way we move. The way we hold tension. The way we breathe. I notice it every day - walking the streets of Berlin, sitting in the Metro or working with someone. Bodies carrying stories, some never told, some long forgotten. The slight hesitation before allowing themselves to fully relax. The breath caught in the chest. The belly,...
